Position Summary

The Registered Dietitian (RD) at the Capreol Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic will directly care for and provide nutritional education to individuals and groups according to best practices. The dietitian will work with an interdisciplinary team and will work in collaboration with team members to optimize plans of care. The dietitian will engage with clients facing a variety of health and wellness challenges including, but not limited to chronic diseases, gastrointestinal issues, metabolic issues and general wellness concerns.

Key Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from and accredited University.
  • Experience in providing educational sessions to groups.
  • Experience in providing nutritional counselling with a variety of health and wellness concerns.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in use of computer including email and electronic medical records
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel within Greater Sudbury as required
  • Access to personal vehicle
  • Current CPR and First Aid

Position Summary

The Capreol Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic (CNPLC) provides health services to the residents of Capreol and surrounding area. The Medical Secretary performs reception & switchboard duties along with administrative tasks that support clinic confidentiality, functional scheduling, patient flow and the accuracy of patient information stored internally and sent externally.

Key Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as business administration and/or Completion of an accredited Medical Secretary Course.
  • Proficiency in computer applications: EMR, Windows, Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in working within an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and be flexible in a very active work environment
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak fluently in English is required.
  • Ability to speak French is an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible work hours. Some evening work is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical secretary.
  • CPIC required

Temporary Full Time (12 month Maternity Leave)

Position Summary

Capreol Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (CNPLC) provides health services to the residents of Capreol and surrounding area. The Registered Nurse (RN) at the Capreol Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic will work with members of the interdisciplinary team to deliver the best in assessment, treatment and teaching. The RN will perform assessments on individual patients and deliver health teaching to groups. The incumbent will deliver immunization and health screening programs and will strategically use the clinic electronic medical records system to facilitate these functions. 

Key Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing.
  • Completion of CAMH and OMSC Smoking Cessation Counselling Workshop.
  • Completion of Well Woman Pap Course
  • Experience with EMR.
  • Current CPR and First Aid.
  • Possess Professional Liability Insurance
  • Ability to travel within Greater Sudbury
  • Current Ontario Driver’s License and insurance.
  • Ability to work flexible work hours. Some evening work and home visits are required.
  • Excellent Communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • Possess strong time management skills
  • CPIC required
