Position Summary

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) at the Capreol Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic will work with members of the administrative team to ensure efficient flow of patients through the clinic. The RPN will also administer immunizations and perform other physical examinations as required. The RPN will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and stock in the clinical areas. The RPN with liaise with other licensed professionals on the team to ensure standards and best practices are met throughout the facility.

Key Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • RPN Diploma from accredited College.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing.
  • Completion of Well Woman Pap Course
  • Current Valid Ontario Driver’s License and insurance.
  • CPIC required.
  • Experience with EMR.
  • Current CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to travel within Greater Sudbury
  • Some home visits are required
  • Core working hours Monday and Friday (8-4), with potential for Wednesday 8-4.
  • Registered with WeRPN
  • Possess Professional Liability Insurance
  • Excellent Communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Registered Dietitian

Part Time: 16-20 hours/week
Salary- $32.36/hr
Eligible for HOOPP and education allowance

Position Summary

The Registered Dietitian (RD) at the Capreol Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic will directly care for and provide nutritional education to individuals and groups according to best practices. The dietitian will work with an interdisciplinary team and will work in collaboration with team members to optimize plans of care.  The dietitian will engage with clients facing a variety of health and wellness challenges including, but not limited to chronic diseases, gastrointestinal issues, metabolic issues and general wellness concerns.

Key Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from and accredited University.
  • Experience in providing educational sessions to groups.
  • Experience in providing nutritional counselling with a variety of health and wellness concerns.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in use of computer including email and electronic medical records
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel within Greater Sudbury as required
  • Access to personal vehicle
  • Current CPR and First Aid.

Position Summary

The Capreol Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic (CNPLC) provides health services to the residents of Capreol and surrounding area. The Medical Secretary performs reception & switchboard duties along with administrative tasks that support clinic confidentiality, functional scheduling, patient flow and the accuracy of patient information stored internally and sent externally.

Key Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as business administration and/or Completion of an accredited Medical Secretary Course.
  • Proficiency in computer applications: EMR, Windows, Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in working within an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and be flexible in a very active work environment
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. 
  • Ability to speak fluently in English is required.
  • Ability to speak French is an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible work hours. Some evening work is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical secretary.
  • CPIC required
