  • Return to exercise after a period of inactivity or injury
  • Develop confidence with safe, sustainable movement

Interested in Kinesiology?

If you’re a patient at our clinic and would like to learn more about Kinesiology, you can submit an expression of interest using the form below.

Our team will help determine the appropriate next step. Your nurse practitioner will review your suitability for exercise participation and determine if any additional assessment is needed before you begin.

Please note, you must be a current patient of the clinic to express interest in Kinesiology Services. To comply with insurance regulations and public funding frameworks, the clinic cannot provide Kinesiology Services if you are concurrently receiving active exercise rehabilitation or functional conditioning from an external provider such as (Physiotherapy, Chiropractor, Exercise Physiologists (CSEP), or Athletic Therapy). Receiving conflicting exercise prescriptions from multiple external sources can result in overtraining, re-injury or stalled progress. If conflicting treatments compromise the R. Kins ability to provide safe care, we reserve the right to deny or pause Kinesiology Services until the external care is concluded.

Submitting an interest form does not constitute a referral, confirm an appointment or provide medical clearance for exercise.

*Disclaimer: Please note, Kinesiology services do not provide the following:

  • Mental health counselling
  • Group programming (not at this time)
  • Hands on therapy (eg. Massage, specific maneuvers, acupuncture)
  • Cognitive treatments
  • Medical diagnosis
  • Medication Prescriptions
  • Specialized Diets
  • Acute injury rehabilitation for severe injuries (eg. Post operative)

Alternatively, you can discuss Kinesiology with your nurse practitioner at your next appointment.
